A quick non-committal phone call is all it takes to determine if it can be repaired.

We are repair specialists, only repairing chips and cracks, not replacements. We repair damage no one else will so don’t let yourself be talked into one before contacting us.

We manufacture our own repair system, producing all the major components and purchase the rest from Australian suppliers which keeps overheads low and price down.

$100 all up. Most places charge more than that for one.

Told to replace?

A replacement is commonly $1,000 or more.* A chip repair with us is $80.

*General Sydney figures based on the quotes our customers tell us about, not a quote from any one business. Some premium providers charge $220 to $300 or more for a chip. Aftermarket screens with ADAS cameras, rain and light sensors, heating, aerials or a heads-up display often cost $1,000 to $2,000, and genuine glass for a current luxury car can run to many thousands.

Chips and cracks, fixed while you wait.

Chip repair

Bullseyes and stars, typically from a 5 cent coin up to a 50 cent coin or even larger. We inject a resin optically matched to the glass into the damaged layer, which stops the chip spreading and guarantees it for registration inspections.

Crack repair

A long crack can be repaired depending on its position. On the passenger side we can repair cracks of a metre or more.

For drivers who’d rather fix it than replace it.

You’ve just copped a stone chip

Get it fixed early is best. Chips near the edge of the glass, or ones exposed to heat, cold or bumps are at greatest risk of spreading.

You’ve been told to replace it

Get a second opinion before you pay for a new windscreen. Plenty of screens you’re advised to replace can still be repaired.

You need to pass an inspection

Windscreen damage can stop a car passing rego or a police inspection. Every repair we do is guaranteed for NSW pink slip, blue slip and defect inspections.

It’s been there a while

Old chips and cracks can still be repaired. Dirt in the damage can affect how clear it looks afterwards, but not how strong the repair is.

Repair or replace?

For a chip, or a crack that hasn’t run too far, repair is often the better option. Here’s how the two compare.

Time Done on the spot. Same day is often possible. Varies. Cars with driver-assistance cameras may need recalibration.
Disruption Your original glass, trims and sensors stay where they are. Trims, e-tag, stickers and sensors may need refitting. Some risk of leaks.
Appearance Often much improved, sometimes close to invisible. Some marks can remain. No visible damage.
